Equipment and technique

My main camera is a Kodak Master field camera 8"x10" .

My friend Doug Lavender also owns this model, and we often trade technical tips and prints.

MY favorite lenses are;
a 10" Kodak Wide Field Ektar
a 305 Schneider G-Claron
a 14" Kodak Commercial Ektar
and 19" and 24" Goerz Apo Artars.

I generally shoot Ilford HP5 Plus film, rating it at 200 ISO. My 8"x10" contact prints are made in the traditional manner on fiber-based papers.

For Digital work I rely on Canon EOS system.
An Epson R-1Ds, is perfect for my Digital Infrareds.
When shooting 35mm film I use one Leica: an M5;
in my opinion, the finest rangefinder in the world.

An Epson Printer R-2400, and an Epson Scanner v750Pro update my traditional workflow.

Panoramas
After seeing German photographer Jaroslav Poncar's work from Tibet, I fell in love with an unusual Russian panoramic camera, the Krasnogorsk FT-2.
I find its 24mm x110mm perspective very striking.
You can find out more about this camera on Marco Pauck's website.

Pinholes
On occasion, when the artistic muse calls, I also branch out into pinhole photography. My pinhole images are made using a variety of formats and media, primarily 8"x10" and Digital.
You can find out more about pinholes on my friend website John S. Raleigh

If you have any questions, either on equipment, technique, or the photographs themselves, I will be very pleased to answer them.
